Many large management companies have full-fledged HR and legal departments to manage all the things senior living companies do. However, there are a lot of other management companies that have between 3-15 communities, perhaps in several states and do not have the resources to manage compliance, payroll, Work Comp, and other HR-related tasks.

There still is no substitution for hands-on care in healthcare, and a PEO helps manage their HR needs so the focus can be on serving residents, families, and stakeholders.
